WHO Official Appreciates Resilience Of Kenya’s Immunization System.

Principal Secretary, Ministry of Health, State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Dr. Josephine Mburu has today had a meeting with the Director of the Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals, World Health Organization. They discussed Kenya’s accelerated transition for vaccination and ongoing vaccination programmes including Malaria, COVID-19 and HPV.
Ms. O’Brien appreciated the resilience of Kenya’s immunization system which she said has seen control of various diseases. The PS reiterated the Government’s commitment to deliver Universal Health Coverage through a strong Primary Health Care system.
