Updating Priority Areas for Cholera Control

The Ministry of Health in collaboration  with county governments  and development partners have embarked on the process of updating priority areas for cholera control, aligning with the Global Task Force on Cholera Control's recommendations. 

A  technical team   is currently convening to identify and validate these areas to guide the implementation of the National Multisectoral Cholera Elimination Plan. 

The meeting's objectives are to discuss the prioritization methodology and findings, apply thresholds for consideration, propose vulnerability factors, and validate the final priority areas list. 

Kenya plans to utilize these validated areas to develop targeted strategies towards Cholera elimination.
