Reinforcing Collborative Efforts in Snakebite Research

Liverpool May13-17th 2024 This week marked a significant milestone as a delegation from the State Department of Public Health and Professional Standards and National Assembly Committee on Health visited  the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) for a series of pivotal discussions.

The  primary focus was on advancing the ongoing snakebite research collaboration between Kenya and LSTM, these meetings aimed to fortify the enduring partnership between the Ministry of Health and LSTM. 

Beyond strengthening existing ties, the agenda  explored new avenues of collaboration and partnerships that can effectively tackle the multifaceted challenges posed by snakebite incidents.
