Red Cross Secretary General, Dr. Asha Mohammed, along with members of her management and NEC team, paid a courtesy call on the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Dr. Nakhumicha S. Wafula, today to discuss potential collaboration on healthcare initiatives in Kenya. One of the key topics discussed was the delivery of universal health coverage through the training and equipping of community health workers. “We also talked about the importance of effective implementation of healthcare programs and emergency response, as well as the need for training and support for paramedics,” said the CS.
