Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni today received a courtesy call from the High Commissioner of India to Kenya H.E Namgya Khampa.

They discussed areas of interstate collaboration in health between Kenya and India.

At the centre of the dialogue were key priority areas for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) including Digitization of Health Services, capacity building for Human Resources for Health HRH, Health products and Technologies (HPTs) and Health Infrastructure for specialised health services.

The PS said that the Ministry in collaboration with the High Commission of India will work on a framework to operationalize a partnership leveraging on convergence of ideas to transform the health care landscape in the Country.
