Morocco, 30th September 2023 - Harry Kimtai, Principal Secretary for Medical Services, and Kenya's Honorary Consul to Morocco, Ali Bajaber, met with Prof. Khalid Aït Taleb, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of Morocco. This meeting took place during the 1st Manufacturers Marketplace meeting for African Union member states, hosted by Morocco. 

Discussions revolved around various health-related topics, including partnership opportunities, African cooperation, and expertise exchange. Prof. Khalid Aït Taleb invited their Kenyan counterparts to visit Morocco at their convenience. 

During this visit, Morocco's Ministry of Health will facilitate a meeting with local manufacturers to explore best practices in #OneHealth initiatives.

The discussions also emphasized critical areas like African Vaccine Manufacturing, Pandemic preparedness and response, highlighting the importance of a New Public Health Order.
