WHO Donates Tablets to Kenya's Ministry of Health for Enhanced Technical Coordination and Data Strengthening Efforts

Nairobi, KENYA - 29th November 2023 - The WHO Country Rep Dr. A. Diallo handed over 11 tablets to the Ministry of Health, Cabinet Secretary Nakhumicha S. Wafula today to aid in coordinating technical work and decision-making.

Additionally, World Health Organization Kenya announced plans to provide 940 more tablets in December for data collection, analysis, and surveillance system strengthening across the country.

WHO's representative emphasized their commitment to supporting MOH's strategic plan and ensuring Kenya benefits from this assistance.

Health CS Nakhumicha expressed gratitude for the timely gesture, stating it aligns with MOH's agenda for digitalization to enhance service delivery and support various health programs, including Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
