Nairobi, Kenya- 22nd September 2023 -Principal Secretary of the State Department of Medical Services, Harry Kimtai, on Friday played host to the MOH/Roche MOU implementation committee. 

 

The committee convened to evaluate the milestones accomplished during the inaugural year of MOU implementation. 

 

Notably, the Herceptin Access Program has made significant strides, facilitating broader access for breast cancer patients to this targeted drug, which is now fully covered under NHIF. This initiative aims to mitigate the financial burden of cancer-related expenditures.
