Opening of Mama Rachel Ruto Maternity Hospital
Uasin Gishu, , 2024 Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni joined Her Excellency The First Lady, Mama Rachel Ruto in opening the Mama Rachel Ruto Maternity Hospital in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
This facility will significantly improve maternal and child health in Uasin Gishu County and larger Rift Valley region, offering comprehensive care from family planning to postnatal services.
The PS noted that the facility is critical step towards achieving Universal Health Coverage and strengthening primary healthcare by ensuring all mothers and children have access to high-quality, essential health services.
