Principal Secretary Harry Kimtai and Colgate-Palmolive East Africa Join Forces to Enhance Nationwide Oral Health Services

Nairobi, Kenya - 3rd June 2024 - Principal Secretary for the State Department for Medical Services, Mr. Harry Kimtai, met with the Colgate-Palmolive East Africa Team led by Mr Vijay Ameta - CP East Africa GM to advance oral health services through strategic initiatives. 

 Discussions included the school oral health program, which promotes good oral hygiene in children, and the development of a joint planning framework with a unified monitoring and evaluation system. 

 The meeting also focused on training nurses and community health promoters in specific counties to enhance community oral health education. 

 Mr. Kimtai emphasized the ministry’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to quality oral health services for all Kenyans, highlighting this partnership as key to fostering a culture of oral hygiene.
