Nairobi Monday June 3,2024 Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni met representatives of the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU) to discuss the  return-to-work agreement between the government and the union.

Key issues on the agenda included improving working conditions, ensuring fair remuneration, and enhancing support for medical practitioners.

Both parties are dedicated to finding mutually beneficial solutions to create a conducive work environment for healthcare providers, ultimately aiming to improve the quality of care for patients across Kenya.
