MOH and CDC Kenya Forge Strategic Alliance to Fortify Healthcare Systems and Enhance Emergency Response

Nairobi, Kenya - 26th January 2024 - In a notable effort to bolster healthcare infrastructure and reinforce health systems, Mr. Harry Kimtai, the Principal Secretary of the State Department for Medical Services, received a courtesy call from Ms. Amy Herman-Roloff, the Country Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Kenya.

The discussions highlighted a commitment to collaborative endeavors, covering critical areas crucial for enhancing healthcare services and emergency response mechanisms.

A key focus of the dialogue was the digitization of government data, with both parties considering the upcoming launch of a digital superhighway.
