Ministry of Health Engage in Vital Health Security Dialogue with Kenya Defence Forces
Nairobi March8,2024 The Ministry of Health State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards hosted officers on an educational visit for the Kenya Defence Forces Senior Joint Command and Staff Course Program. The discussion articulated the interplay between health and national security, BETA Health Agenda, multiagency arrangements for health security at points of entry, reduction of disease transmission in ASAL areas, drug abuse among the youth and the strategic benefits of the export of health workers. Areas of collaboration between KDF and health were also articulated.
