Nairobi Monday September 4, 2023 Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni has today met with the Global Fund Country Team to assess progress in implementing recommendations for Tuberculosis and Malaria Programs following the June 2023 mission.

During the meeting, the Ministry shared updates on the upcoming launch of Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) set for November 2023. Additionally, we discussed the transition plan for Global Fund contractual staff.

The PS reiterated Ministry's commitment to ensuring accountability in the Global Fund-supported programs, taking steps to rectify reported non-compliant expenditures within the malaria program.
