Mary Muthoni, met with UNICEF Country Representative, Shaheen Nilofer

Nairobi Wednesday July 31, 2024 Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, met with UNICEF Country Representative, Shaheen Nilofer, to discuss UNICEF-MoH collaborative areas of work. These include nutrition, public health,WASH, social and behavior change communication, community engagement, environmental health, reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health, and primary health care.

Both leaders acknowledged the great results achieved in the aforementioned areas as a result of this great collaboration. 

Further, the  importance of consistent joint monitoring and evaluation of programs to ensure maximum impact was noted.
