Kenya Launches Global Health Workforce Grants for UHC Progress
Nairobi , 2024 Kenya has launched the Global Health Workforce grants to boost Human Resources for Health towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
The program is partnership between the Ministry of Health, the Department of Health and Social Care, the Council of Governors and managed by the Tropical Health and Education (THET) .
Kenya has made strides in the health workforce space enhancing training and regulatory frameworks. The launch emphasizes local ownership, sustainability, and collaboration with international partners. Stakeholders renewed their commitment to advancing UHC while adhering to Kenya's economic transformation agenda.
