Iranian Ambassador Jafar Barmaki And Kenyan Cabinet Secretary For Health Discuss Potential Collaboration For Improving Health Sector

The Iranian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E Jafar Barmaki, today paid a courtesy call to Dr. Nakhumicha S. Wafula, the Cabinet Secretary for Health. During the meeting, they discussed potential areas of collaboration between the two countries aimed at improving the health sector in Kenya.
One of the key areas of collaboration was supporting Kenya in the production of health products and technologies (HPTs), which will enhance the country's ability to manufacture essential medical supplies locally. They also discussed establishing Dialysis centers throughout the country, investing in hospital infrastructure, and providing technological support.
The partnership between Iran and Kenya has the potential to bring about significant improvements in the health sector. By sharing expertise and resources, both countries can work together to improve healthcare access and quality, ultimately benefitting the people of Kenya.
