Bungoma, Kenya - August 27, 2023 - Health Cabinet Secretary, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, joined H.E President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in the official opening of the 90-bed Surgical Ward at Busia County Teaching and Referral Hospital. The ward is fully equipped with Surgical, Orthopedic, and Pediatric Units, aimed at alleviating the burden on residents of Busia and surrounding areas when seeking surgical services.
