Health Cabinet Secretary Advances Health Initiatives in Kilifi County Visit

Kilifi , Kenya - 6th December 2023 -  During her visit to Kilifi County, Health Cabinet Secretary Nakhumicha S. Wafula was graciously hosted by Deputy Governor H.E. Flora Mbetsa Chibule. The CS conducted a comprehensive tour of the new Kilifi County Medical Complex, overseeing the delivery of cholera kits and Health Products and Technologies (HPTs) at the Referral Hospital.

Engaging with Community Health promoters (CHPs), she highlighted their pivotal role in the healthcare system and provided mobile phones to support their vital work. Additionally, the CS extended support by distributing aid to Flood-Affected Residents during her visit, demonstrating the government’s commitment to healthcare improvement and community assistance in Kilifi County. Joining the CS in this crucial engagement were Public Health and Professional Standards PS Mary Muthoni and Government Spokesman Isaac Mwaura, showcasing a collaborative effort to enhance regional healthcare services.
