Governor Wamatangi And PS Tum Discuss Partnership For Improved Healthcare In Kiambu County

The Governor of Kiambu County, His Excellency Hon Kimani Wamatangi, visited the Principal Secretary of Medical Services, Eng. Peter Tum, today. The meeting focused on the Kenya Kwanza priority areas for achieving Universal Health Coverage, as well as the Ministry of Health's partnership with the Kiambu County government to equip hospitals and enhance service delivery.
During the discussions, the PS commended Governor Wamatangi for his efforts to improve healthcare in Kiambu County. The partnership between the Ministry of Health and the County government is crucial in realizing the goal of Universal Health Coverage. The PS also acknowledged the Governor's dedication and commitment to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Kiambu County.
The Kenya Kwanza program aims to provide affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare services to all Kenyans. The partnership between the Ministry of Health and the Kiambu County government is a significant step towards achieving this goal.
