Exploring Partnerships for Primary Care Networks

Nairobi Monday August 28, 2023 Principal Secretary State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni meets representatives from Safaricom PLC Henry Kilonzo and Jessica Gakinya to discuss areas of collaboration in the operationalisation of Primary Care Networks.

They explored partnerships in digitization of health records and advancing Telemedicine. This is aimed at enhancing efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services in line with the Kenya Kwanza Government digitization agenda.

The meeting also discussed joint efforts to address public health issues through targeted awareness campaigns, educational programs and health screenings in the communities.

The PS noted that the efforts are aimed at bringing health services to the communities in line with the AfyaBoraMashinani agenda.
