Empowering Communities for Inclusive Governance: Shaping FY 2024/25 Budget through Stakeholder Engageme𝐧𝐭

Nairobi October 23,2023 The Government, in its commitment to inclusive governance, is launching an extensive stakeholder participation process for the Financial Year 2024/25 and the Medium Term Budget in all counties.

This initiative will be a collaborative effort, led by Sector Working Groups and overseen by accounting officers. The primary goal of this engagement is to gather sector-specific insights, ensuring that the budget effectively addresses the pressing needs of each sector.

Today, Principal Secretaries for State Departments of Medical Services and Public Health, Harry Kimtai and Mary Muthoni, joined other accounting officers at the National Treasury to initiate preparations for this transformative exercise.
