Director General for Health Meets Pfizer Team to Discuss Strengthening Health Systems
Nairobi, Kenya - - The Director General for Health, Dr Patrick Amoth met with the Accord Pfizer team, represented by Elif Aral, Ali Besri, and Allan Mackenzie, to discuss Pfizer’s commitment to accelerating and strengthening health systems.
The discussions focused on ensuring treatments reach patients in need and addressing systemic barriers that limit access to healthcare.
Key areas of focus included advancing healthcare workforce development, strengthening supply chain and logistics capabilities, and pursuing efficient regulatory pathways.
These efforts are aimed at accelerating the achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
