Digital Health Solutions Advancing Healthcare in Kenya

Mavoko, KENYA - 30th October 2023 - On Monday, the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, joined H.E President William Ruto in Mavoko, Machakos County, to receive the locally assembled phones, 'Neon Ultra' and 'Neon Smarta.' The President Reaffirmed the Government's pledge for affordable smartphones access in Kenya while Nakhumicha highlighted the Ministry's commitment to utilizing digital health solutions to tackle healthcare challenges.

She further explained, "My ministry is collaborating with Safaricom to equip every Community Health Promoter (CHP) with a smartphone integrated with the electronic Community Health Information System (eCHIS)." - Nakhumicha S. Wafula.
