CS Health Nakhumicha Visits Mathari Hospital to Enhance Patient Care

Nairobi, KENYA - August 15, 2023 - Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, undertook a comprehensive visit to Nairobi's Mathari Teaching and Referral Hospital on Tuesday. 

 

The primary objective of the visit was to acquire firsthand insights into the hospital's operations, facilities, and patient care standards. During the visit, CS Health Wafula extended gratitude for the remarkable efforts carried out within the institution. 

 

Acknowledging the hospital's challenges, notably in managing queues due to a shortage of health workers, CS Health Wafula disclosed that the Public Service Commission has approved recruitment measures to address this issue. 

These positions will be advertised shortly to bolster staffing levels.
