Chairperson Of Kenya Hospital Authority Trust Fund Pays Courtesy Call On Cabinet Secretary For Health.

Prof. Wilfred Lesan, the Chairperson of the Kenya Hospital Authority Trust Fund (KHATF), paid a courtesy visit to the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Dr. Nakhumicha S. Wafula, today. This comes after his recent appointment as the Chairperson of KHATF Trustees.
During the visit, the Ministry of Health welcomed Prof. Lesan and expressed its commitment to working with him towards enhancing healthcare service delivery in Kenya. The Cabinet Secretary congratulated Prof. Lesan on his appointment and acknowledged his extensive experience, which she believes will be valuable in advancing efforts to provide quality and affordable healthcare services to all Kenyans.
KHATF was established under the Kenya Hospital Authority Act of 2017 to mobilize resources for the development and improvement of health facilities in Kenya. With Prof. Lesan's appointment, the authority is expected to continue its mission of ensuring that all Kenyans have access to quality healthcare services.
