Principal Secretaries Harry Kimtai and Mary Muthoni meets with Chief Executive Officers

Nairobi , 2023 The national government has dedicated this year's Mashujaa Day commemoration to advocate for the noble cause of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The primary objective of this initiative is to showcase the remarkable progress that the nation has achieved on the path toward realizing UHC for all citizens.

The lead-up to the event promises an engaging week filled with various activities, each centered around the fundamental pillars of UHC. These pillars encompass Integrated Health Information Systems, Health Commodity Security, Health Financing, Human Resources for Health, and Primary Health Care.

In preparation for this occasion, Principal Secretaries Harry Kimtai and Mary Muthoni from the State Department for Medical Services and the State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards  met with Chief Executive Officers representing various Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies within the Ministry, emphasizing the collaborative spirit driving this ambitious undertaking.
