Nairobi , 2025 The government remains committed to strengthening skills development, training, and innovation as part of improving service delivery in the health sector. This calls for a whole-of-government approach, where different State Departments work in close coordination to deliver better outcomes for Kenyans under the Bottom-Up Transformation Agenda (BETA).

Principal Secretaries Mary Muthoni -Public Health and Dr. Ouma Oluga-Medical Services hosted the PS for the State Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Dr. Esther Muoria. Our discussions focused on areas of collaboration between our Departments, including curriculum alignment, practical training and innovation, to ensure the health workforce is equipped with the right skills to serve the people effectively.
