The engagement focused on key areas including the ongoing implementation under the current PEPFAR waiver, integration of HIV services into the Social Health Authority (SHA) benefit package, coordination of digital health systems, and joint planning for the upcoming Devolution Conference.

Dr. Oluga reaffirmed the Ministryโ€™s commitment to continued partnership with PEPFAR to safeguard progress made in HIV programming while aligning with Kenyaโ€™s Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goals and broader digital health agenda.

The Ministry further confirmed that NASCOP will participate in the Devolution Conference in Homa Bay County, where it will highlight innovations in HIV service delivery under SHA, including the scale-up of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) options and integrated care models.
