Strengthening Health Security: NPHI Hosts Joint Evaluation Workshop 

Naivasha 13th- 17 May 2024 The National Public Health Institute (NPHI) is hosting a collaborative workshop to conduct a Joint External Evaluation (JEE), aimed at assessing Kenya's compliance with the International Health Regulations (2005).

Representatives from various sectors, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Water, Kenya Wildlife Service, Kenya Defense Forces, and Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, are participating in the evaluation.

The JEE involves a comprehensive review of IHR competencies, with the final report identifying 3-5 priority actions per sector. The outcomes will enhance health security both locally and globally.
