Kenya-UK Health Alliance Strengthens Collaboration to Enhance Healthcare and Cancer Cate in Kenya

ππšπ’π«π¨π›π’, 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐚 – πŸ’π­π‘ π’πžπ©π­πžπ¦π›πžπ« πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ’ - The Kenya-United Kingdom Health Alliance, established through an MOU at the Royal College of Physicians in London, aims to improve healthcare in Kenya through joint research, workforce training, and education of healthcare professionals, with an initial focus on cancer care.Β 

The partnership fosters collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and trainees from both countries to address Kenya's healthcare needs, including non-communicable diseases and Universal Health Coverage.Β 

OnΒ Β , Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Mr Harry Kimtai hosted Jeremy Lefroy, Kenya-United Kingdom Health Alliance (KUKHA) co-chair). Achievements include the creation of a cancer center network, fellowships at UK institutions, and plans for a health education center at Kisii University.
