Devolution Conference 2025: Leaders Unite to Unlock Kenya’s Nutrition Future
Homabay , 2025 On the sidelines of the ongoing Devolution Conference 2025, the State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards, in collaboration with Nutrition International and other partners, hosted a high-impact Nutrition side event themed “Unlocking the Future: Innovative Strategies for Nutrition Planning, Financing and Data for Decision Making.”
The event brought together national and county leaders, development partners, technical experts, and community champions to chart a path towards stronger nutrition outcomes across the Kenya.
Discussions focused on:
• Mobilizing political and financial commitment to address nutrition challenges
• Strengthening partnerships and promoting cross-county learning
• Showcasing innovative financing mechanisms such as match funding modalities and Social Health Insurance
• Mainstreaming nutrition in County Integrated Development Plans (CIDPs)
• Accelerating the implementation of nutrition policies and strategies
