Chinese Delegation Begins Feasibility Study for Health Projects in Kenya

๐๐š๐ข๐ซ๐จ๐›๐ข, ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ“, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“โ€” A delegation from the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA)ย ย met with Principal Secretary for Medical Services, Dr. Ouma Oluga, at Afya House to commence a feasibility study for proposed health infrastructure projects in Kericho and Baringo counties.

The visit follows ongoing cooperation between Kenya and China under the FOCAC framework. The team will be in the country throughout August to assess the viability of selected projects in alignment with Kenyaโ€™s health sector priorities.

The Ministry of Health has coordinated preparations for the study in collaboration with the respective county governments.

The delegation is expected to present its findings before the end of the month. The Ministry welcomed the partnership as a boost to ongoing efforts to strengthen health infrastructure and improve service delivery.
